Feasibility of High Temperature Filtration of Combustion Off-Gases
- Client: Energy Technology Support Unit (ETSU)
- Financing agency: ETSU Renewable Energy Programme
This study investigated the technical feasibility of particulate removal from incineration flue gases above the de novo dioxin reformation temperature, and considered the financial viability of such a system.
Several aspects of incineration and gas cleaning have been studied including fouling, corrosion, heat recovery, particulate and gas behaviour at high temperatures, which has resulted in a outline design of a small-scale. |
