Premier Foods process foods requiring steam which is provided by a number of coal fired shell boilers. As part of a continuing on-site development programme, EDT is installing state-of-the-art boiler control equipment. This gives better steam pressure control, reduced noise, improved combustion/lower fuel consumption and lower electricity consumption.

EDT carried out the entire project, designing, procuring, sub contracting, installing, commissioning and handing over the new boiler control systems. This is one of several companies where EDT’s control system has improved amenity and reduced fuel consumption.
