EDT organised and chaired a conference for The Filtration Society at Cheltenham’s Golden Valley Thistle hotel on Tuesday 15 April 1997 entitled “Flue Gas Cleaning on Combustion Plant”.

The conference attracted 60 delegates from the UK, Ireland, Austria, Denmark, Holland and Belgium.

Six technical papers were presented covering the fundamental chemistry of combustion and gas cleaning, and the selection and design of equipment required to burn fuels and wastes with minimum effect on the environment.
